KARACHI: The Zilhaj moon has been sighted and Eid-ul-Azhawill be celebrated on Saturday, November 28, AAJ News reported on Wednesday.
This was announced by Chairman Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman, here on Wednesday evening. Mufti Munib made the announcement after he chaired a meeting of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee.
They said that the decision regarding the sighting of the moon was unanimous. They stated that the Zilhaj moon was sighted at various places in the countryside. Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman said that the Zilhaj moon was sighted in Karachi, Sialkot, Islamabad, Peshawar other parts of the country.
