A few months back, I actually went on a kick of trying to locate and download all the early computer games I played in 90's. SkiFree was one of those games - it came with Windows 3.11 on my family's first PC. It was a very simple game. You would guide a stick-figure Skier with your mouse or the arrow keys down an endless mountain. Eventually, a yeti will dart out from behind a tree and eat you.
My best guess for why this is Trending in web searches this morning is the web comic XKCD. Who knew that all you had to do was press the F key to speed up and escape certain doom?
