The Green Bay Packers have lost quarterback Brian Brohm.
Media reports say the Buffalo Bills signed Brohm to a two-year contract Wednesday and the Packers tried to keep him by offering the same two-year package and a newly-opened roster spot.
The Packers had cut Brohm at the end of training camp, but he signed with Green Bay's practice squad after he cleared waivers.
The Packers reportedly offered him the roster spot vacated Wednesday when receiver Jake Allen was waived.
But the second-year pro apparently for decided he'd have a better chance to play with the Bills, who are undergoing a quarterback change at the moment.
The Bills will start Ryan Fitzpatrick instead of Trent Edwards this weekend and they also have quarterback Gibran Hamdan is their 53-man roster.
