One person was killed in a Miley Cyrus tour bus accident Friday morning, the Virginia State Police confirmed to the Associated Press. Cyrus, 16, was traveling on a separate bus at the time of the accident.
"It was one of our tour buses, but not Miley's," Cyrus' manager told TMZ. "It was one of our buses that transported our lighting crew."
The bus overturned at about 8:15 a.m. Interstate 85 is about 40 miles south of Richmond, according to Sgt. Thomas Molnar. Compliant, police would not identify those on board, nine other passengers on the bus had minor injuries.
There were 14 people aboard the bus that rolled on its side, according to NME. The dead passenger is presumed to be the bus driver.
The bus that overturned and the bus was on Cyrus were both part of a four-bus caravan is their way to Cyrus' Saturday show in Greensboro, NC where she is still scheduled Thurs perform.
